Nissan Paladin 2.0T 4WD Body-on-frame SUV

The Paladin is Zhengzhou Nissan's body-on-frame off-road SUV: double-wishbone front suspension, a solid rear axle, 4882 mm long on a 2850 mm wheelbase, 215 mm of clearance and a practical five-seat, five-door cabin with a square-loading boot.

Power comes from a 2.0T turbo petrol engine rated at 168 kW (228 PS) and 360 N·m, matched to an 8-speed automatic and part-time 4WD with low range. WLTC consumption is 9.4 L/100km, the tank holds 73 L, and 0–100 km/h takes 10.68 seconds.

A bold grille, roof rails, side steps and a rear-mounted spare-wheel provision give it real off-road presence. Inside there is a central touchscreen, reversing camera, automatic climate control and leather seats, with a rear diff lock on selected versions. The high seating position and rugged chassis outclass car-based SUVs on rough ground.
