On May 21, the GAC Trumpchi E9 was officially launched, priced at RMB 329,800 to RMB 389,800.
The new car is positioned as a medium-to-large MPV, equipped with a plug-in hybrid system composed of a 2.0T engine and an electric motor, with a CLTC pure electric range of 136km and a comprehensive range of 1032km.
Judging from the book data, GAC Trumpchi E9 is obviously aimed at the recent hot Denza D9 , which sells for 335,800 to 465,800 yuan ( the price of the plug-in hybrid DM-i version is 335,800 to 445,800 yuan ). From January to April , the sales volume of Tengshi D9 was 44,491, with a monthly average of more than 10,000. It also shows the high demand of consumers for 300,000-class new energy MPV models.

1. Two types of front face designs, three screens in the interior

Entering the car, you can see that the interior design of the new car is relatively flat and stable without too many complicated lines, while the 12.3-inch driving control instrument + 14.6-inch floating central control screen + 12.3-inch passenger entertainment screen add a sense of technology.
The second row uses independent seats equipped with a one-button SPA mode. The side of the seat is equipped with a 5-inch touch screen, and it is also equipped with a 15.6-inch entertainment screen on the top.
As for the space level, thanks to the car length of over 5m, there is no need to worry about the second row of the new car, and even when it needs to be full, the third row of the new car can meet the relatively comfortable ride needs of 3 adults.

Only in terms of storage space, the GAC Trumpchi E9 is slightly inferior. Without putting down the third row of seats, the storage capacity of the trunk of the new car is relatively limited. Putting down a 28-inch suitcase is basically full .

Specifically, the GAC Trumpchi E9 with a 2.0T engine has obvious advantages in terms of power, and the comprehensive power of the system is already close to the four-wheel drive dual-motor version of the DENZA D9.
The 103km WLTC pure electric cruising range is between the low and medium configurations of the Denza D9. It is worth noting that the 43km WLTC version of the Denza D9’s low configuration only supports slow charging, and the 155km cruising range that supports fast charging. The mid-range price of D9 has reached 375,800 yuan, which is close to the top configuration of GAC Trumpchi E9, and all GAC Trumpchi E9 series support fast charging.

As for the power feed fuel consumption that everyone is concerned about, the fuel consumption of the single-motor front-wheel drive versions of the two models is basically at the same level, both around 6L/100km, so the long-distance use economy of the two models is basically indistinguishable win or lose.
So on the whole, GAC Trumpchi E9 is still very capable. The low configuration has a longer battery life and stronger power than the Tengshi D9, and it supports fast charging. The top pair has an advantage in price compared to the Tengshi D9 top configuration.
But at the same time, Tengshi D9 has more four-wheel drive versions to choose from, and at the same time, the body size is relatively larger. In the case that it can also satisfy the three-row comfortable ride, the trunk space can take some advantage.
