On September 9, the 2025 BYD Han was officially launched, with a price range of 165,800-235,800 yuan, and many listing rights were announced. In addition, although it is a facelift model, the changes in the new car are still quite significant. The 2025 Han DM-i / EV is equipped with laser radar and Orin X intelligent driving chip for the first time; it adopts the fifth-generation DM technology, and the rear suspension is upgraded to a five-link suspension. The new car is mainly optimized and upgraded in terms of appearance design, intelligence and power technology.

In terms of appearance, the new car continues the classic styling design of the current vehicle. The front face adopts BYD's classic dragon face design and uses suspended dragon crystal LED headlights. The biggest change is the optional laser radar on the roof.

The plug-in hybrid version is equipped with the new fifth-generation DM technology, which greatly reduces the air intake of the front grille. At the same time, the temperature of the engine compartment is reduced, and the front face design of the plug-in hybrid version has also undergone a more obvious change; this makes the DM plug-in hybrid version and the EV pure electric version adopt a similar closed front face design.

In addition, the 2025 BYD Han will provide blackened sports kits for consumers to choose from. At the same time, the exterior has been newly added with "Weiyang Gray" paint. The length, width and height of the vehicle are 4995 (4975)/1910/1495mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2920mm. At the rear, it uses a through-type Chinese knot LED taillight.

In terms of interior, the car is equipped with a 15.6-inch LCD central control and a 12.3-inch LCD instrument panel. The multi-function steering wheel still adopts a double-spoke style and uses independent partition ambient lights. The overall atmosphere of the interior is calm and can give consumers a certain sense of luxury.

The new car is equipped with the DiPilt 300 "Eye of God" advanced intelligent driving system, which uses the NVIDIA Orin-X chip and is equipped with 31 sensor hardware including lidar. It can realize map-free pilot assisted driving on national highways and cities, and supports passing traffic lights, on and off ramps, autonomous overtaking and merging lanes on public roads in the city.

In terms of power, the new Han DM-i will adopt a hybrid system with the fifth-generation DM technology, equipped with a 1.5T engine with a maximum power of 156 horsepower and a motor with a maximum power of 272 horsepower, matched with Fudi lithium iron phosphate blade batteries. The new Han hybrid version is equipped with 12.960/18.316kWh batteries, a curb weight of 1860/1910kg, a range of 70 kilometers and 102 kilometers under WLTC conditions, and a fuel consumption of 4.7L/100km. Han EV will be equipped with a pure electric power system that can output a maximum power of 228 horsepower and a peak torque of 350 Nm. It is worth mentioning that since the first BYD Han model was launched in early July 2020, the Han family has achieved sales of 800,000 units.
